Working git-manage (I think).

- Finished implementing all of the functionality I had in mind (for
  now).
- Added a bunch of info output.
- Fixed a few small issues.
- Worked around an issue with creating an initial commit in GitHub
  (ended up doing it with the git CLI).
- More information in the docstrings for the top level functions.
